Verdure Sciences is honored to be selected as the recipient of the 2020 AHPA Herbal Industry Leadership Award. “Established in 2006, the annual AHPA Awards acknowledge individuals and organizations that make substantive, positive contributions to the herbal products industry,” explains the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) website. Initially, Verdure was to be recognized at Natural Products Expo West 2020 in Anaheim California, USA, as a company “that sets an example of outstanding business practices or an organization that works to move the industry forward above and beyond normal business practices.” Unfortunately, with the cancellation of this years’ event, Verdure has not yet been able to receive the award but is extremely pleased to announce this recognition and is looking forward to the rescheduled reception at SupplySide West in Las Vegas Nevada, USA to be held at the end of October.

“Throughout our 20+ year history, we have been committed to forward-thinking initiatives not only for our organization, but the industry as a whole, for positive impacts to the global botanical marketplace. We are honored to be recognized for the efforts we continue to strive to establish and appreciate everyone within our organization and the industry who work so hard to go above and beyond. It is a culmination of the years of dedication to research, quality, traceability, and more, paired with the growth over time that has helped to position Verdure as a leader in this arena, which we feel this award helps to further establish,” said Ajay Patel, Founder and CEO of Verdure Sciences. Patel further expressed gratitude and humility as he thanked the team internally and mentioned joining the ranks of immense players in the industry whom have previously received the same. “It is an incredible honor to be amongst these big players as a recipient of the AHPA Herbal Industry Leadership Award.” AHPA has honored significant contributors to the herbal industry for 15 years now.

Verdure continues to strive to collaborate internationally and proactively impact the botanical industry through growth, advancement, and quality assurance business practices, for which the AHPA Herbal Leadership Award recognizes as part of the selection process. “It is such an honor to be recognized for what we do in the quality department and throughout the entire organization” said Bhaumik Darji, Quality Manager at Verdure Sciences.
